Gentle Reminder for Book Purchasing

We would like to share some important information about how our book purchasing and stock availability work.

​

Since 2022, we have continued to develop our public sales channels to make more of our book range available to retail customers. However, some book titles may be subject to publisher agreements, supply arrangements or industry restrictions. This means certain titles may not always be available for public sale through every channel. We appreciate your understanding.

​

For personal book purchases, we recommend browsing our online store or our other available retail channels. These channels provide a convenient way to check current availability and place orders directly.

​

To support both retail customers and book retailers, we have established five warehouses and seventeen distribution points across Australia and New Zealand. These strategically located facilities and partner channels support sales and fulfilment across coolabee.co.nz, Trade Me, The Market, Gumtree and selected marketplace partners.

​

While we no longer operate company owned direct selling accounts on some international platforms, our supply arrangements continue through different channels. For Amazon US and Amazon Australia, we supply selected book titles directly to Amazon. These books may then be sold by Amazon and fulfilled through Amazon’s own retail and fulfilment channels.

On eBay and similar marketplaces, we supply selected online retailers and marketplace sellers rather than operating an official eBay retail account. This means some books available through eBay and other major platforms may be sourced through our wider supply network or retail partners.

Please keep in mind that stock levels may vary between channels.

 

Occasionally, a product may appear as out of stock on one platform while still being available through another. This can happen because stock is held across different warehouse locations, fulfilment points or partner channels. Where possible, we recommend purchasing from the channel that currently shows the item as available. This helps ensure a smoother and more reliable shopping experience.
